RBC Heritage TOUR TRUCK REPORT

Quite a bit of action this week at the RBC Heritage. Typically after a major, players will start testing again to get dialed in for the summer run. Drivers and Fairway woods were the hot topics this week with more players testing ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž driver heads and prototype Epic Speed SZ Fairway woods.

This week we had Tour Manager Jacob Davidson, Kellen Watson, Simon Wood, and Odysseyโ€™s Joe Toulon.

Chase Seiffert-We built him a new Epic Speed SZ ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž 3-wood (15) with an MCA Tensei AV Blue 85TX. Chase uses the 3 wood primarily off the tee and is now looking for better numbers off of the ground to ensure some versatility.

Dylan Frittelliโ€“ Tested the new Epic Max LS (Standard) with a Fujikura Ventus 6X at 46 inches.

Jim Furykโ€“ we worked on driver this week after he had a few weeks off to test different lengths as he feels that the longer length is cumbersome at times.ย  The last few weeks on Tour, Jim felt like he could not have full control of the driver at the longer length.ย  Came to Hilton Head with a few shaft options and we finally settled into an Epic Speed ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž 10.5 at D/-1.ย  He felt like this option fit his ideal shot shape which starts a touch left of the target and falls slightly right.ย  The new set up is at 45.5 inches with an Oban Kiyoshi Tour Limited 60 05 shaft.

Brice Garnettโ€“ will possibly add a Mavrik SZ 7-Wood to the bag this week, fully equipped a Fujikura Ventus Blue 8X.

Emiliano Grillo
โ€“ Had a backup Mavrik SZ (10.5@8.5) built up with a Fujikura Ventus Blue 6X. He also tested the Epic Speed ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž DS (10.5@8.5) which flew very well.ย  Emiliano doesnโ€™t like to look at launch data early in the testing process rather see how the ball flies on course. A good way to go.

Alex Norenโ€“ We built up an Epic Max LS (STD) and Epic Speed (STD) both with MCA Tensei Orange CK Pro 60TX.

Christiaan Bezuidenhoutโ€“ Is testing new Epic Speed SZ ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž (Proto) three wood and five woods. The new sticks were built with MCA Diamana DF 70TX (3-wood) and 80TX (5-wood)

Sam Burnsโ€“ Is now in the new Epic Speed 10.5 (STD) with the trusty TPT shaft that heโ€™s had in for a few years.

Kevin Naโ€“ Had backup Epic Speed 3 (15@12.7) and 5 Wood (18@16.6) built. Kev loves the performance of his new set-up which shafted with the Diamana BF 70TX (3 wood) and Diamana RF 80TX (5 Wood)

Odyssey (Joe Toulon)

Matt Wallaceโ€“ put the new 2B10 in the bag after a nice run with his custom Toulon.

The specs are as follows:

2B10S
Insert: Multi Hinge Star|
Weight: 651 Grams, C2
Loft/Lie: 3, 75
