The Genesis Scottish Open and the Open Championship are always the best two weeks of the year. Not only are you in the UK, where everything golf-wise hits twenty times harder, but I also get to spend two weeks with some of my favorite people in the world, the Callaway Europe Tour Team.
The question I get ALL THE TIME is whether Scotland golf brings out the big club changes. Yes and no. You will only see driving iron additions and some (a couple) players lowering the loft on their drivers to bring the flight down.
That’s it.
However, we did launch OPUS to the world this week, and some of the players who hadn’t tested it yet were able to get some sets made up to either put in play or take home.
On-site for #teamcallaway, we had Europe Lead Peter Harrison, Tour Manager Ian Garbutt, Tee Reps Scott Pudney, Jason Eilerd and Johnny Thompson, Tour Techs Paul Monks and Chin Tozar, and Odysseys Seamus Sweeney.
Enjoy the show!!
FYI, my spec database is on the fritz, so when I get the app fixed, I’ll update the specs. Some I have in my brain, but the others...
