No doubt my favorite place to be (besides with my girl and kids) at my favorite time of the year. This week we are at the Renaissance Club in Scotland for the Genesis Scottish Open.
The field is elite, the golf course is immaculate, and we are primed for a great week in the UK.
I absolutely adore the Callaway Europe crew led by Pete Harrison (Head of Sports Marketing), Ian Garbutt (Tour Manager) Performance Reps Scott Pudney and Jason Eilerd, Tour Tech Paul Monks, and Odysseys Seamus Sweeney.
Enjoy the Gallery!!!
Nicolai Hojgaard jumps on the Jailbird train and tests some new fairway woods.
The status on the fairways is still TBD but was testing both with the new Project X DENALI Blue 70TX which has been flying around the range this week for testing.
Sam Burns switches into Dynamic Gold X100s and has a new X21 UT built for the Open.
Sam who has been in the PX 6.5 for a long time wanted a bit more spin and control on off-speed shots which was a challenge with the handle stiff PX. The new setup improved his dispersion AND distance control. No BS I always thought he was a prototype X100 guy but no one listens to me LOL… I’m kidding…but I did think that.
Welcome to the PGA Tour Project X DENALI!
The profile is slightly stiff in the handle/soft in the middle and stiff in the tip section. It will be offered on TOUR (as of now) in 60TX/70TX/80TX and a 105TX HY.
This non-staffer put the Denali in straight away into his Rogue ST Max 10.5@13.5!!!
Here is some more cool pics I grabbed on Monday and Tuesday:)
