Monday was a busy but quiet day on the Callaway Tour Truck if that makes sense. Lots of players showing up to get the Callaway Open Staff Bag which is absolute 🔥🔥🔥 and heading out to see the course for some the first time and others since 2011. On the truck, we have Tour Manager Paul Monks, Andrew Cooper, Ian Garbutt, and Jason Eilerd.
RSG which is located in Sandwich, UK is an interesting venue. I got to know it well from watching the 1993 Open Highlight Video like 1000 times. That was The Open where The Shark went scorched earth in the final round, shot 64, and beat Bernhard Langer. It’s a fun one. True ball hitters track that requires a bit of luck as there as many bumps and hills in the fairways as any course in the rotation. RSG also has unique pacing as there isn’t 3 par 4’s in a row on any nine. It has some weird angles off the tee, diabolical bunker placement, and the 14th hole is NASTY with OB stakes just yards down the right side.
Driving the ball in the fairway will be of utmost importance with the big premium being on Iron play. This excited me because we have two individuals (Rahm, and Xander) that do that about as well as anyone. Im expecting another wild week form our boys and im once again confident the Chevron will rise again….Just sayin🤷🏻♂️

Might be a dumb question, but what does the tour staff do with their EPIC bags? Does the tour truck keep them in storage?
