TOUR REPORT DROPS THURSDAY!!!
Sam Burns’ chef ticket from his 3-wood testing at the WM and into this week.
Adam Svensson, who has been looking for a new look, opted for this Ai-One DBL Wide CH Cruiser. The new setup has slowed the pace of his stroke down and improved his speed control. The specs are as follows…
Xander has two different fairway wood set-ups for different tracks…this week at RIV, Xander was looking for something a little hotter in the 3-wood section for his bag, opting for a 15-degree TD vs his 16.5 HL. The new stick carries about 10-12 yards further, BUT it caused a HUGE gap into his 23 UW, so Xander had a 21-degree (19.8) UW built with an MCA Diamana D+ 90TX to get the gapping correct. This setup will go in on courses with more demand for 3-wood off the tee.
Si Woo Kim’s new Ai-One Milled 1 T went in the bag late Wednesday at the WM; saw Si Woo and his caddy on the putting green today, and he feels like this setup and going cross-handed allows him to release the toe much better freeing him up to make the stroke he wants.
Haddy’s new RAW TCB 24′ Testers…will be sent home to AZ to test in his weeks off before Fla.
The new Ventus Blue hits the TOUR. The elevator pitch has slightly more feel and is slightly more stable in the tip section, which tightens up dispersion and center face contact. I haven’t tested it yet, but it’s coming.
Nico Hojgaard swipes one of Jon Rahm’s backups from ECPC….now it’s at RIV getting some work in. Totally something I would do. He swiped it, cut it down (37-35), bent it flatter, and now it’s potentially in the bag… Elite Move.
Sending Love from RBC Security…
One more look at Nico Hojgaards 7-wood…this guy and Min Woo have the most SAUCED out set-ups on TOUR.
