Today was more or less cut in 1/2 with a rainy start, but it did pick up in the afternoon with Rahm, Burns, Xander, and Gooch all in serious grind mode in prep for the first true invitational of 2022.

Xander and Joe Toulon tested some potential putter options today at Riv. Xander is searching for an overall weight that will match up with his release to improve pace and start lines. This is where Joe is at his best, and I think his feel and sensitivity to what a player is searching for is what makes him the best on Tour. It’s fascinating to watch.
I’ll keep you posted on the outcome.

Marc Leishman has a new Rogue ST 💎💎💎 5-wood to test
Ventis Black 9TX (42 inches, Tipped .5, D3)
Kevin Kisner made some subtle tweaks to a Rogue ST 💎💎💎LS set up going with a higher lofted 8.5 head and a Ventus Black 6X shaft. Kiz was in the 💎💎💎 set-up last week. This set-up should bring the launch down a touch and shave a few RPMs of spin. As of now it’s just a test.
Adam Hadwin showed up to Riviera with a new Rogue ST💎💎💎S (10.5@9.5).Sa He put it in last week in Scottsdale and was ecstatic about the responsiveness and stability of this head.
Same Trusty Diamana White Board 60TX that may never retire.
Branden Grace put a fresh set of X-Forged CB’s in the bag. He was previously in the TCB but wanted a bit more forgiveness in the 8-PW. The longer blade length and additional offset of the XFCB are exactly that.
