Welcome to 2024!!!!
It’s already a crazy first week of the year with the launch of Ai-Smoke and nine staffers in the field at Kapalua.
We had five new players converting into the new driver and four more into the new Chrome ball.
Also, Sam Burns and Xander Schauffele are putting the new Apex TCB 24 irons in the bag over the winter.
Joe Toulon, Kellen Watson, and Johnny Thompson were on-site for the Callaway Performance Team.
Sam Burns new Apex TCB irons:
For all the gearhead conspiracy theorists out there, the new TCB is almost a carbon copy of the 21′ edition, with the exception of the new badging and slightly more bounce (.5 degrees) in the 8-P. That’s literally it.
The new set is 4-11 w/ PX 6.5 shafts and Golf Pride TV Align Midsize grips—std length, lie, and loft. Sam also put the new Chrome Tour X ball in play this week.
“CSX and I had a REALLY nice run, but since putting the new Chrome TOUR X in the bag…I got longer, better in the wind, and my green side control is better than ever…kind of a no-brainer if you ask me.”-Sam Burns

Xander puts Ai-Smoke Triple Diamond and new Raw Apex TCBs in the bag…
Like Sam, Xander swapped into the new TCB over the Xmas break, this time going with his preferred RAW finish. Same set-up as always (4-P, Tour Issue X100, GP MCC Align grips, D2.5, Std Length)
