It was a mild week in regards to testing but the truck stayed plenty busy with some maintenance and tweaks to gear already in the bag.
On site we had Tour Manager Jacob Davidson, Kellen Watson, Simon Wood and Odysseys Joe Toulon……and me but I just get in the way. 🤷🏻♂️
Tom Lewis had a brand new Epic Speed 💎💎💎 3-wood built. The new stick that will come to the masses at some point soon was weaponized with a Fujikura Ventus Black 7X. See the spec sheet below.

Xander Schauffele who has been trying to find the right 3-Wood over the past few weeks has potentially found a winner. The new Epic Speed 💎💎💎 (15@14.5) gave him the flight window he was searching for at the exact spin he needs for some versatility. If you recall he went into a Mavrik SZ 4 wood a few weeks back as the same head in a lower loft was going too far with not enough spin.

On the Odyssey front, the world’s greatest Putter Rep Joe Toulon had his usual busy week getting even more non-staffers into ODY putters. 2B10 was the #1 model with 8. We also had seven OG #7’s in play.

All in all, it was a great week back on the road, Phil was in the truck quite a bit and I had a chance to chat him up about his coffee and his newfound obsession with the Fujikura Ventus. Next week we are in Dallas for the Byron Nelson. It should be a busy week with the PGA Championship and Kiawah Island coming the week after.
