It was just a few months ago that the same thing happened…giving a gear junky like me the ability to paint up and ultimately bedazzle my gamer is not only a gift from the golf Gods but so much fun in the process. Customized golf gear has become a kinda the thing over the past few years, especially when Covid Insanity/Boredom kicked in. I mean, the sticks you play and how you present them to the world is no different than busting out the Air Jordans or your favorite custom New Era Yankees cap. Custom or Bust I say and I don’t just mean Custom Fit. I used to put lead tape strips on my clubs just to make them mine, no clue if the tape actually helped or hindered me, I didn’t care. It was so I knew those clubs belonged to me.

This time I dug into the Callaway Customs Driver program and my God was this a good time, what I ended up with was a Dark Knight-inspired hammer that I can’t wait to get my hands on. Do I need a new driver? No. Do I want this black hammer out of some dysfunctional gear head entitlement? Hell yes.
Like the wedges, the options are endless in regards to colors, head type, shafts, grips, etc. Hope you enjoy what I came up with and if you happen to build one please DM me your pic at Johnny_wunder on IG. I’m certain no one will come close to my glory but its a worth a shot:)
