It has rained over two inches this week in Toronto; add that yesterday was sectional qualifying for the U.S Open, and it all adds up to a fairly slow start to the RBC Canadian Open.
Nonetheless, we did get a couple of hours of sunshine later this afternoon, and I could catch up with a couple of players.
On-site for the Callaway Performance Team is Kellen Watson and Odysseys Joe Toulon.
St. George’s Golf Club is a beautiful venue and I believe we are in for a great week.
Matt Wallace showed up with a bunch of new sticks:
Rogue ST Max (15@13.2, 57 lie) Matt uses a Sharpie marker to black out the scoring lines to achieve the look he prefers. Shaft: Fujikura Ventus Red 7X (43 inches, Tipped 1.5, D3) Matt added these XFCB Irons about a month ago, since the switch his ball striking stats improved a ton.
