Post major Mondays are always a beautiful thing. The vibe is laid back, and players are looking for a way to decompress. Harbour Town Golf links is exactly the venue you want to recharge your batteries after getting your head kicked in for 72 holes.
It’s my first time here, and I have to tell you, it’s fantasy land. The golf course is incredible, the town is like something out of a storybook, and the people are simply amazing. I love it here.
Enjoy some of the snaps from Today:)
Dylan Frittelli’s A and one off TCB Sand Wedge made an appearance. What started as an idea has turned into an actual performance gain, his SG from 125 and in has improved. It’s actually an interesting gapping story on this one. Wesley Bryan put two new irons in the bag, a Rogue ST Pro 4-iron and Apex Pro 5 iron. Bryan has an Apex Pro Hybrid (20) that carries 245, and his old Apex Pro 4-iron only stretched to 220. With the Rogue ST Pro, he’s getting more height and a 225 stock number…..…to fill in the gap between the 4 and 6-iron, Wesley went with this Apex Pro 5-iron. The Apex Pro ’21 launches a bit higher; it is not as hot as the Rogue Pro but IS hotter than the Apex Pro Double Dot that he has in 6-PW. This all adds up to a perfect gapping situation, 4-Iron Carries 225, 5-Iron 210, and 6-iron 195…perfect.Rahmbo is not here this week but this new Jaws Forged 60 will be here waiting….Si Woo Kim Chef Ticket….there is a lot going on here. Adam Hadwin will be testing this new Rogue ST LS 3-wood this week…The new stick has an MCA Diamana TB 70TXSerious Tour Sauce on this full face Jaws MD5 58/C…guess who it belongs to..The fighting stance of Champion Tour/PGA Rep Johnny Thompson and Odyssey Rep Joe Toulon. Johnny isn’t out here that much, but it’s always great when he is. EVR put this Apex UW (21) in the bag last week for a higher launching option into the Par 5’s, looks like it may stay in the bag for a bit replacing an X-Forged UT he’s had in for 3+ years. EVRs UW has the MCA Kai’li White 90TX
