It was a #homegame at Torrey Pines this week for the Farmers Insurance Open. With the very popular (amongst players and reps) Wednesday start, players were on site Sunday afternoon to get ready, which meant the truck was open for business. In addition, it was also a week where we had inside-the-ropes access to video and take photos. Typically we are only allowed to collect assets on the driving range, putting green and chipping green. With the handcuffs off, we amassed a ton of content like…
and…
and….
and…..
and much, much more…
On site, we had Sports Marketing manager Jacob Davidson, Tour Manager Joe Toulon, Performance Reps Johnny Thompson and Kellen Watson, Odysseys Cody Hale and Eric Stubben, and Tour Tech Simon Wood.
Let’s start with the numbers:
Total Callaway Drivers in Play: 35
Total Paradym: 23
Non-Staff Paradym in Play: 9
Staff Conversion: 75%
Most used Paradym model: Triple Diamond 20 Total

After a SOLID start at the TOC in Orlando, I wanted to get some insight into Yuka Saso’s Paradym set-up. I caught up with Callaway Sr. MGR of Sports Marketing Bjoern Kreutzer, and this is what he had to share…
- She LOVES the sound and feel of Paradym; it was the first reaction she had at testing.
- Heel misses specifically are much better vs. Rogue ST, lower spinning (2500-2800 vs. 2700-3000)
- She went up in loft about 0.5 (8.5 to 9) degrees vs. Rogue ST, as the Paradym TD is a little lower spinning.
- She uses a prototype shaft made by “Seven Dreamers” @ 45.5” EOG, D1, 9g F 2g B, 2g lead tape in the heel.
As of Friday night Rahm is two back with 18 holes to play…3peat?
Have a great weekend:)
